Dental Hygienist

Donna has been in practice for more than 35 years and has been working alongside Dr. Van for more than 10 years. As she is starting her next chapter into retirement and spending more time with her family, we hope to still have a special visit from her on some days! She and her husband live in Oakton, VA and have two grown children, a daughter who is a nurse and a son who is in the construction industry. When not working, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, scrapbooking and baking.


Dental Hygienist

Priscilla has been involved with the dental field for 15 years and has practiced dental hygiene during the past 10 years. She was born in Brazil but considers Boston, MA her hometown at heart where she received her dental training and lived for 17 years until meeting her husband. After living in California and Florida for his medical training career, they have recently relocated to the DC area. They fell in love with the charm of the Old Town Alexandria area and have settled here to start a new life with their rescued dog, Bella. Outside of her career, she is passionate about books, running and hiking. She also loves setting time aside to volunteer and being a foster parent for shelter animals.


Dental Hygienist

Anna Lee was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. She spent the last thirteen years in Louisiana, where she attended college and began her Dental Hygiene career. Recently she has returned to the area to be closer to family. She is excited to resume her work in the dental hygiene field in an area she loves. She shares her home with her chocolate lab, Frannie, and two cats. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, cooking and attempting to play the piano and guitar.


Dental Hygienist

Jenae has been in dentistry for almost 25 years, originally entering the field with a passion for maintaining oral health globally.  She is passionate about creating a big impact through volunteer work on mission projects locally as well as internationally.  She is a strong proponent of educating patients and the community about dental health and its connection to the mind and body.  Outside of work, she maintains an active, busy life with her husband and their 7 children.  When she's not working out, paddle boarding, hiking, fishing and shooting archery, you will find her in the kitchen baking treats as it is second nature to her!


Dental Hygienist

Rhea has been working in dentistry for almost 20 years. She is originally from California and moved to Virginia with her husband, a former marine, in 2000. They have a son in elementary school and a daughter at James Madison University. She has been Vice President, President and Chairperson for the Northern Virginia Dental Hygienist Association for 10 years. She is passionate about giving back to the community by visiting schools and educating children about oral health. Outside of work, she is cheering on her son at his baseball games, works on creative projects and never turns down a good book!


Dental Hygienist

Jan is a native of the Washington, DC area and has been a dental hygienist for almost 40 years.  She has been working with Dr. Van for 10 years and patients feel welcomed by her upbeat personality and fun sense of humor. She lives in Vienna, VA with her husband and their 2 Maltese dogs.  Their older daughter recently graduated from JMU and their younger daughter is currently at VCU.  Outside of work, she loves to bake and cook and stay fit.  She is an avid runner, participating in numerous marathons each year.


Dental Assistant

Sierra earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 2007 and worked in Puerto Rico for 15 years before moving to Virginia.  Her kind heartedness and natural compassion for patients connected her to joining Dr. Van and working with her chairside daily.  She lives with her husband of almost 20 years and their daughter who is in eighth grade.  Outside of work, she has a passion for dancing and staying fit.  She has also recently returned to karate, in which she earned her black belt in the earlier years.


Dental Assistant

Zach is originally from Chesterfield, Virginia and recently relocated to the Northern Virginia area to be closer to his family and friends.  He is a Certified Dental Assistant, having received his training in Charleston, South Carolina. Patients will find him to be warm and genuinely caring, with a great passion for the dental field. Outside of the office, he enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking and spending time with his loved ones.




Chief Operations Manager

Pamela brings along 15 years of experience in the dental field.  She is a graduate of George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. She is originally from Peru and moved to Virginia 16 years ago.  She loves to interact with patients and help them feel comfortable. Aside from work, she loves to travel, dance and exercise.  She enjoys hiking and exploring the different wineries in Virginia and spending time with friends and family.


Business Manager

Affiong is originally from New Jersey and has been in the Northern Virginia area for almost 20 years.  She has had 10 years of patient relations and healthcare experience, previously working in the neontal intensive care unit at INOVA hospital prior to joining Dr. Van.  She values strong and long-term relationships with patients as she plays a role in the practice's business operations. She is known to be kind and gracious as well as having a great sense of humor. Away from the office, she enjoys outdoor activities, reading, cooking and spending quality time with her family.


Marketing Coordinator

Angela is a graduate of Virginia Tech and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She has recently started her first year at the Touro College of Dental Medicine in New York City.  She continues to create a great balance between education and work as she remains a part of Dr. Van's team in portraying the mission of the practice. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends as well as creating and crafting art projects.
