Dr. Nicole Van

With native roots in Northern Virginia, Dr. Van grew up in Fairfax with a dentist mom and a physician dad. Throughout her childhood, she observed them wearing multiple hats as parents, entrepreneurs and educators. She began her studies in math and engineering but was then inspired to pursue a career in health science when she realized she wanted to work and build relationships within the local community. In 1992, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at George Mason University. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Medical College of Virginia in 1996.
During her time outside of the office, Dr. Van is actively involved in advanced training and study clubs, including the renowned Seattle Study Club and The American Academy of Facial Esthetics. As a lifelong student and being passionate about technology, she continues to refine her knowledge to adapt to the changes of the modern dental industry.
She treasures quality time at home in the Town of Vienna with her husband of 20 years and their 3 teens. On weekends, she is a spectator at her kids' basketball, lacrosse, volleyball and soccer games. She is also constantly dabbling in some type of design project and working on her tennis game with the dream of returning to a competitive level from her high school days.
